This is embarassing that such an environmentally impacting plant could even be considered in a location such as this and that the municipal government has not done more to discourage it. There are so many concerns to be addressed yet this seems to be slipping by quietly. One wonders if this has anything to do with the proposed widening of Hwy 11? I fully oppose this proposal and aAnyone who values the Muskokas, the serenity, the nature, the outdoors and the environment should also. Wake up and smell the roses....wait....sorry we won't be able to smell the roses for the stink or listen to the birds for the traffic!
